The 2009 Law and Citizenship Conference gathers educators from throughout the state to learn about and discuss "hot topics" in civics and law-related education

At the conference you will find sessions on the following:

Digital Citizenship & Technology in the Classroom
Learn about new technologies and the impact on students and education

2010 Census and its Impact on Ohio and the Nation
Possible sessions include teaching the census, its political impact on Ohio, what data is being collected, and what it means for Ohio

Federal Reserve & Personal Finance
A focus on economics and personal finance in these difficult times

Current Events
An update on the political and military efforts in Afghanistan as well as other timely topics

Sessions for 3rd, 4th, 5th Grade Educators based on Government and Citizenship Lessons
The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education will be releasing a new, unique activity book designed especially for the elementary classroom
