Ohio
Government in Action (OGIA)
is a two-day professional
development held every fall at the
Ohio Judicial Center and Ohio
Statehouse. Participants meet the
movers and shakers of the executive,
judicial, and legislative branches
of Ohio’s government.
OGIA is
designed for teachers by
teachers and uses the
Academic Content Standards for the
Social Studies as its guide. All
participants receive a binder of
lessons, classroom activities and
resources, and more!
One graduate credit hour available from Ashland University for
a fee.
Attendees must participate both days
to earn credit.
