The High School Mock Trial
Championship Round will be rebroadcast
through the Ohio Channel several times
in the coming month (dates and times are
listed below). Viewers can go to
http://www.ohiochannel.org/about_us/channel_locator.cfm
to find the Ohio Channel in their part
of the state. If the Ohio Channel is
not available in your area, please call
the General Manager at your local PBS
affiliate and ask that the Ohio Channel
be a part of their broadcast line up.

Summer Opportunities Available for Mock Trial
Participants
The Mock Trial Academy is a trial
advocacy conference where trial lawyers and mock
trial coaches from around the country instruct
high school students in the art of trial
advocacy. The conference will be held June 17 –
June 27 at North Central College in Naperville,

The
Providence Academy
is hosting a
10-day Mock Trial Academy, at which advanced
students will be taught by a law school
professor and will receive individual mentoring
from current law students. The Academy will be
held at the University of Denver in Denver,
Colorado, June 18-27, 2010. Students must be
nominated by their Mock Trial advisor and
registrations are accepted on a space available

Law
Explorers 2010 National Mock Trial Competition
– Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri,
will serve as host of the Law Explorers 2010
National Competition. Explorer Posts and high
school mock trial teams are invited to enter
this competition with teams of 5-10 students.

The US Federal Courts have numerous educational
outreach materials on their website available by

resources serve to teach students about the
Constitution and the Federal Court System
through the use of interactive court
simulations, constitution resources and various

nomination and confirmation process of Supreme
Court Justices.

High School
Mock Trial Practicum Website
The
National High School Mock Trial Championship Board in
partnership with Great Rivers technology presents the National
Mock Trial Practicum website. The purpose of the site is to
enhance the Mock Trial experience for students, teachers,
coaches and judges by providing an interactive area that will
help students better understand the trial process and learning
tools for new and experienced advisors. Access to the site is
available for $100 per team (up to 8 students) and $10 for each
additional student, renewable each year. For a demonstration or
